Julia Magalhaes Associate
Julia Simas Magalhaes, MPH is our globe-trotter. She is fluent in three languages, rooted in multiple countries, and convinced that the best insights, like the best adventures, come from looking at the world from a fresh angle. Trained in public health and evaluation, Julia brings operational clarity and analytical thinking to problems big and small. Whether she’s supporting end-to-end research cycles or tackling an issue with a specific metric, Julia helps mission-driven organizations translate data into strategic actions. She has extensive experience supporting federally funded programs and developing data visualization tools that make findings accessible, actionable, and impactful. Julia thrives at the intersection of systems, storytelling, and strategy, ensuring that research not only answers key questions but informs meaningful next steps. Outside of work, you’ll find her playing with her dog Ollie, getting lost in a good book, hunting down a new restaurant or cuisine to try, and planning her next trip.
