Olga Glinskii, PhD Senior Associate

Olga is trained in cultural and sociolinguistic anthropology, ethnography, and social psychology. As an applied social scientist with over 15 years of experience in qualitative and mixed methods research, Olga brings a wholistic systems perspective to assessing needs and behaviors in national and international settings.

She is passionate about inclusive research design, and doing whatever it takes to represent the needs and lived experiences of historically underrepresented groups.

Olga is always wondering about the ‘how’s’ and the ‘why’s’ behind the good or bad experiences we have with the products we use and the services we receive. Skilled at synthesizing complex customer needs with dynamic business objectives, she translates research findings into actionable strategies for improving technologies, products, and services.

Outside of work, Olga is passionate about the role of art and creativity in building more sustainable ways of existing in this world. As a decade-long fiber addict, she is often working on various felting, spinning, and up-cycled embroidery projects, and/or tending to her tiny urban homestead with her husband and son.

Education

Olga received BAs in Psychology and Anthropology, with a minor in Philosophy, from the University of Missouri.  She then completed her MA and PhD in Anthropology at the University of New Mexico.
